Royal Ascot Outfit 2

This is Wednesday's outfit.

I based this one on the floral prints that are on trend at the moment.
This outfit is a warmer outfit, as Wednesday was a cooler day with a dash of rain.
I hope you enjoy this outfit and it inspires you to wear something similar this summer.

Royal Ascot Outfit 1

With Royal Ascot starting today, I have put together a series of outfits that would look great at the races. Everyday this week, I'll be posting the outfits. As each one is in a completely different style, they won't be boring! ;-)

As I can only dream of going to Ascot this year, I will be sat watching the coverage on the BBC, and pretending that I am wearing these outfits, this week, (whereas, actually, I'll be wearing a sundress and flip flops *wipes a tear*). I hope you enjoy the coverage, and that this beautiful outfit will inspire you to wear something similar, sometime this summer! SpiceHawk x

This outfit is inspired by what I wear daily. Mainly boho style. Dressing up, of course, means you should look fabulous! But it doesn't mean you can't be comfy too. This was my mantra when designing this outfit.

This Week's Treats

What SpiceHawk is tipping as her top treat buys this week. Enjoy! SpiceHawk x

Photobucket

Mama Do - Pixie Lott.
Fantastic song to listen to in the bath, whilst reading a lovely book or to have a good old sing song to!
Available to purchase in good record shops and to download on iTunes.

Photobucket

Party All Day - By Steel Panther.
This song is from the new album 'Feel the Steel'. It features Justin Hawkins, of Hot Leg and formerly of The Darkness. This song is a great tune to dance around the house to, and to cook to, believe me ;-)
The album is available to purchase from good record shops, and both the song and album are available to purchase from iTunes.

Photobucket

Series Three of Hotel Babylon on DVD.
With the fourth series of Hotel Babylon starting on the BBC, here in the UK, on Friday, this DVD is a great buy. It will make sure that you are up to date with the past episodes, and will provide you with hours of glamorous and hilarious entertainment, with some touching scenes too.
Available from Amazon, the BBC Shop and to download from iTunes (along with Series one and two).

Photobucket

Embellished Neck Trim Dress from Warehouse - £45.
This dress is absolutely beautiful! It could be worn at a summer wedding, tea party, birthday party, lunch or dinner with a loved one, or even at the races.. Ascot anyone?
It would look great, teamed with gladiators, a floppy hat and a cute bag.
Definitely a fantastic summer outfit investment.
Available from Warehouse stores across the UK, and online.

Photobucket

Miss Dior perfume by Dior - around £56
This perfume smells divine! It's delicate scent is a sure hit for summer, during the day and the evening.
Spritz this whenever you need a quick brightening during your day, and it will plaster a smile on your face (and many passers by) for hours on end.
I adore it, and will be wearing it all summer, and maybe even during the first few weeks of Autumn ;-)
Available from Boots UK.

I think I need a doctor. I have a case of Red Light Fever.

One of my most recent album purchases, was Red Light Fever by Hot Leg. As I am simply infatuated with this album, I thought I'd blog my review. Enjoy, and I hope it encourages you to have a listen to the album, and maybe purchase it too! SpiceHawk x

As many fans of The Darkness will confirm, the release of this album has been long awaited.
Two and a half years have passed since The Darkness became a distant memory, and they couldn’t have passed slower for the fans of Justin Hawkins and co.
The band decided to call an abrupt end to their highly successful career due to personal reasons, leaving fans bereft and wanting more.

With new tattoos, a new name and a clean mind and soul, Justin ‘Dave’ Hawkins’ new band, Hot Leg, has refreshed the ears of Darkness fans, with a punchy and vibrant album. Displaying an array of foot stomping, eardrum bursting musical treats, Red Light Fever is certainly not a disappointment. The tunes range from the punchy, fist clenching, feel good songs such as “You Can’t Hurt Me Anymore” and “Cocktails” to the sweet and succulent rock ballad “Kissing in the Wind".

A personal favourite is "Ashamed". The song is catchy, and sends a shiver down my spine. I love it!

This album was worth the wait, and is a perfect album to listen to on a Friday night. Although it may not be to everyone’s taste, it is a sure hit for former fans of The Darkness.
I would give this album 10/10 and would recommend it to any fan of great music.

In the words of Hot Leg,

Great Music, Great.

Welcome to my world.

Hi Bloggers!
This blog is simply an insight into my life.
It'll be based on the books I'm reading. The music I'm listening to. The films/TV shows I'm watching. The clothes I am wearing. Even some of the sights that I will be viewing.

If you're reading this, welcome to my world! Happy to see you here. Hope you like it here, and I hope you have fun.
As you're new to my world. Above is a photo that I can see as I am talking to you at this very moment in time.
